At MUSEjar, we believe inspiration works both ways.
We hope you find something here that inspires you - to make something, try something new, look at something differently, or simply see where your curiosity takes you.
But we also believe inspiration doesn't have to stay here.
It can come from a place you love. A memory. A color. A person. A walk around the corner. Your community. Or even a happy accident (thank you Mr. Bob Ross).
And that is exactly where this little experiment began.
We asked ourselves:
What if we could take a little bit of that inspiration and send it home with you?
🧿 Introducing a collection of MUSEjar Exclusives - small, locally inspired creative prompts and challenges dreamed up by our MUSEjar artists and/or the creative people around us.
Some will be things to paint. Some might ask you to draw, collage, photograph, build, collect, experiment, or simply look at something in a different way.
They won't all look the same.
And they are not meant to.
Each artist-curated kit will give you just enough of a starting point - a little inspiration, sometimes a few materials, and a creative challenge that invites you to take it wherever you desire.
📌Each kit has an anatomy of three parts:
☝️THE INSPIRATION~ What inspired the artist to create this particular creative kit?
🤘THE CHALLENGE~ An idea, prompt, or creative constraint to get you started.
🤟THE INVITATION~ Make it yours. Change it. Add to it. Ignore the rules. Follow your curiosity. Whatever inspires YOU!
Because honestly, we don't really care what you create. Just that you create something.
Creating connects us to our community, to one another, and to ourselves. It helps us notice things. Try things. Grow. And sometimes, it simply makes an ordinary day a little more interesting.
What makes the these "exclusive"?
Well, first, they are created by our MUSES, making them extra special and connected. BUT these little inspirations to create will ONLY be sold in-store, and in VERY limited quantities.

Each kit includes (4) hand drawn paintable watercolor cards inspired by some of East Aurora's well known and cherished community parks. Each park illustration was hand drawn by Lisa, then printed on high-quality (and bleed proof) watercolor paper, ready for your creativity to take hold!
