Let's all vow to take note that while making health and wellness a gentle, sustainable priority this year, we don't need to overhaul our routines. It’s not about drastic changes, but about building habits that support your body and mind—more movement you enjoy, better rest, nourishing choices, and moments to slow down. Small, mindful shifts can create a stronger sense of balance, energy, and overall well-being.
Well here we are... taking a breath from all of the holiday hooplah, and all of a sudden ‘tis the season for resolutions and goal setting. Whether you believe in New Year's resolutions or not, we all probably agree that a reset every now and again is a must.
Personal Growth/Hobbies
This year, let's just all agree that the focus should be on growing in ways that feel meaningful and joyful. As artists, you better believe that we view personal growth less about perfection and more about curiosity, self-discovery, and showing up for yourself a little more each day. Whether you’re learning a new skill, returning to a forgotten hobby, or making time to create just for fun, these small, intentional moments can lead to big, fulfilling changes.

Home/Lifestyle
Things got a little.... cluttered and chaotic as we closed out 2025. But now is the chance to create a home and lifestyle that supports calm, creativity, and ease. Organization isn’t about perfection—it’s about making space for what matters most. Thoughtful routines, intentional decluttering, and simple systems can help your environment feel more functional, welcoming, and aligned with how you want to live day to day. And a calm and focused environment helps to center our minds, allowing more room for growth in other areas of our daily lives.

A Different Approach
Raise your hand if you are already overwhelmed with the idea of yet again, managing goals and habits? Or do you have a habit of being too hard on yourself? Maybe this is the year that we all just give ourselves a break and focus on what reflection instead of what we need to change. Perhaps try to just take a moment and jot down the positives and let them drive your days.
- What am I grateful for?
- What small victories have I experienced lately?
- What special moments happened this week?
- What am I looking forward to?
Try to remember to be a little flexible and avoid “all-or-nothing” thinking as you go about trying to achieve whatever goals you set for yourself. If you experience a setback, don't give up completely; this might discourage you enough that you gain no achievement at all! Appreciate the progress and move on!
And always remember to give yourself a high-five for ANY and ALL accomplishments - little OR big! YOU GOT THIS!
