MAY 15 + 22: Intro to Basketry: Woven Bowl Two-Part Series
Weaving–but make it useful for every day! Marry form and function as you make a lovely rope bowl using basic warp and weft and twining techniques. Firm enough to hold its shape, with soft neutral tones and reflective light, it’s a super simple project that yields an elegant result. Ideal for beginners who have no weaving knowledge. Finished bowl measures approximately 10” x 3” (individual sizes vary depending on weaver's tension). Due to size and complexity, this class is broken into two 2-hour sessions.
