MARCH 7, 14, 21, 28 + APRIL 4, 11 • INTERMEDIATE: Ceramic Dinnerware Set

6 SESSIONS: Thursdays - 3/7, 3/14, 3/21, 3/28, 4/4 & 4/11

In this class, students will design and create their own ceramic dinnerware set with service for 4 (16 pieces total!)

Students will build upon prior throwing experience to explore how they can develop consistency and uniformity throughout their thrown pieces in order to create a cohesive set. We will also explore a variety of surface design and glazing techniques for finishing. Students will leave with 4 dinner plates, 4 salad plates, 4 soup bowls, and 4 cups.

Wheel throwing experience is a must! Come with inspiration photos - pinterest is a great place to start!

Don't forget, pottery is MESSY! Wear your art clothes! Closed toe shoes, preferably sneakers, is best!
