DECEMBER 7 • Art Journaling
Draw, paint, collage, write, glue, stencil, stamp, rip - there is no right or wrong way to keep an art journal! Art journaling is a wonderfully messy and creative practice where personal thoughts meet artistic expression. This practice has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, and encourage creativity and problem solving. It can even be used as a meditative practice. Many techniques will be demonstrated while we explore multiple artistic media and complete thought provoking prompts. Students are invited to either work at their own pace and their choice of creative process or follow along with prompts from the instructor.
