When can I arrive to set up for my party?
As a renter, you may arrive no earlier than one half-hour prior to the start of the event and leave no later than one half-hour after the event. MUSEjar reserves the right to charge a fee for any additional time.
Can I decorate for my party?
You are welcome to drop off your decorations and/or refreshments during store hours the day before your party and we will take care of all the setup. (If your party is on a Monday, we will be here one half-hour prior to the start of the event for setup.) If you're not bringing your own decorations we will set up with ours.
What if I have to cancel my event?
A cancellation fee of 50% applies to all private parties. Any cancellations made within two weeks of the event are non-refundable. If an event needs to be rescheduled, the date is subject to availability. Refunds are granted solely at the discretion of the owner.
In the event we have to cancel your event, we will work with you to reschedule. A full refund will be given if a rescheduled date is not available.
What if my guests exceed our contracted amount?
Additional charges will be applied for any additional guests outside of agreed upon headcount. Payment will be required at the beginning of the event. MUSEjar holds the right to decline additional guests based on the availability of supplies and ordering.
