This a week-long camp held daily from Monday, July 22nd through Friday, July 26th, 9:00am to 11:00am.
Join us for a week-long camp where we will use our imagination to create a variety of popular mythical creatures and characters! We will create yarn unicorns, paint gnomes, make wizard hats & wands, craft dragons, & create glittery, beautiful mermaids! By using a wide variety of materials, students will learn how to work with many different art mediums, in both two dimensional and three-dimensional projects.
We will start each day with an inspirational story from books such as Harry Potter, The Little Mermaid, Uni the Unicorn and more. The focus of this camp will be teaching a variety of creative processes in a fun and imaginative way while relating to the stories shared throughout the week.
Ages: 5-7 years old
SPECIAL NOTES: Students enrolling will need to be able to focus for longer periods of time, while working independently with guided instructor support. Children are not permitted to run around the studio or retail space at MUSEjar or stray away from the daily projects intended for completion during camp. Please, ensure your child will be respectful and considerate of everyone around them and come to have fun, be creative and learn together in a warm and artistically nurturing environment. Please be aware, if students cannot comply with instructor environment safety guidelines, & rules, parents may be contacted for early pick up of their child(ren).
Materials: We will provide all the materials needed for the camp and the projects for the week.
Mid-morning snacks and juice boxes will be available for the youth. Please let us know if there are any food restrictions or allergies we should be aware of. If you would like to send your child to camp with their own personal snacks and beverages, they are welcome to bring them.
