Kerri O'Donnell, Vice President at Rosen Publishing Group, will be teaching the creative writing portion of camp. She has worked in the children's publishing industry for over 18 years, and is currently specializing in both fiction and nonfiction for children in grades K–12. In this role, she oversees all aspects of the editorial process—from content creation to finished product—for a title list of nearly 1,000 books per year. Kerri holds a special place in her publishing heart for creative writing in all its forms, and remembers what got her started down this path many years ago—an inspirational 4th grade teacher who recognized and encouraged her budding writing skills and gave her what she considers the best advice she's ever received: "Just keep writing, no matter what. There are whole worlds waiting for you to discover them."Kerri is beyond thrilled at the opportunity to bring her experience and tips of the trade to today's imaginative young wordsmiths.

As a full time artist and owner of MUSEjar, Vanessa finds inspiration and joy in teaching art. Art is a language that is often forgotten about and it's amazing what happens once it's tapped into. Her background is fine art and film production, with a degree from The University of Vermont. She loves mixed media, and currently works mainly with acrylics, but she is constantly exploring and experimenting with all other mediums.

NOTE: All classes require a minimum number of students to run. Please sign up in advance to help avoid cancellation due to low registration. In the case of a cancellation you will be notified prior and receive a full refund. Please read our summer camp policies.
