Lions, and Tigers and Bears...oh my!
Join us for a week long camp of wildlife creativity and exploration! Learn how to bring different animals and other beautiful nature themed imagery to life using acrylic paints and mixed media in a fun way that incorporates art, science, and reading. We will start each day with a nature or animal themed story for inspiration, with the main focus of this camp being on the creative process of making art related to the stories shared throughout the week.
Ages: 5-7 years
Materials: All supplies are included.
Instructor: Angeline Woodworth
Angeline Woodworth is currently a full time Development Director at Compeer, as well as, a wife, and working mom to three children, aged 1.5, 3, and 17. Beyond that she is also an artist with particular passion and experience with photography, acrylic and water color painting, creative writing, and sketch artwork. Angie studied graphic design with a minor in psychology at The Rochester Institute of Technology, has taught art through after school programming and with kids. She is passionate about self expression, nurturing creativity and supporting those abilities with all people, especially children. Angie views creating art as a crucial outlet for thoughts and feelings, and allows for communications and understanding beyond language; all of which is healing, inspiring and thought provoking for the soul.
