JULY 21, 28 AUG 4 • Learn to knit
Are you or someone you know interested in learning to knit? Please join us for a class of learning the basics of knitting!
At the end of the three-week class you will have finished a knitted cowl that you can wear or give as a gift!
In this class we will learn basic techniques...cast on, bind off, knit and purl stitches. We will also learn a bit about yarn gauge, reading the yarn label and understanding the different yarn weights.
Please note, there will be multiple instructors present for each class to optimize one-on-one learning!
AGES: 13 years and up
EXPERIENCE: No experience necessary!
MATERIALS: All supplies included (Wool and The Gang Alpacino Merino Wool and your own wooden circular needles to take home!)
INSTRUCTORS: The Flock
We are a group of ladies who have been knitting together for almost 20 years! We get together weekly to knit, have fun, and help each other with patterns and projects! We have traveled to many different shows...Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool, Vogue Knitting Live, and many other smaller venues. We have taken many classes at these venues and enjoy learning as much as possible to be challenged and to stay up to date on new patterns. We absolutely love to knit, and we are so excited to be able to share what we know and hoping you will enjoy it just as much as we do!
