We are back on the peristyle for another wonderful summer series of painting! You can find us on Wednesdays this year, catching the evening sunlight and enjoying a new landscape each month. In this series and inspired by the different terrains and learn how to paint them in different styles. Attend one or attend all!

May : Utah Deserts

June : Southern California Beaches

July : Colorado Mountains

August : Mid-western Plains

Paint nights are a great way to explore, learn and have fun with acrylic paint. Far from paint by number, you will learn about color and technique. We encourage creativity and want you to make a unique painting. While we advertise with one image, you are not limited to that idea. Upon arrival, you can look through the many painting references that we have and choose your very own. Even better, you can come prepared with your own image. Classes are kept small, so you get individual attention from the instructor.

Beverages and food will be available to order à la carte for your enjoyment!

LOCATION: The Roycroft Inn40 South Grove Street, East Aurora, New York 14052

AGES: 16 years and up - no experience necessary!

MATERIALS: All supplies are included. Bring a printed reference or choose from one of ours. (You are not limited to painting the theme chosen.) You will be painting with acrylics on a 14x18 canvas.

INSTRUCTOR: Vanessa Frost

As a full-time artist and owner of MUSEjar, Vanessa finds inspiration and joy in teaching art. Art is a language that is often forgotten about and it's amazing what happens once it's tapped into. Her background is fine art and film production, with a degree from The University of Vermont. She loves mixed media and currently works mainly with acrylics, but she is constantly exploring and experimenting with all other mediums.

NOTE: All classes require a minimum number of students to run. Please sign up in advance to help avoid cancellation due to low registration. In the case of a cancellation, you will be notified prior and receive a full refund. Please read our class policies.
