Learn basic embroidery while enjoying questionable subject matter. Choose from four patterns which will employ the basic stitches that make up embroidery, and the supplies necessary to create at home — not your grandmother's embroidery.

AGES: 18 years and up


MATERIALS: All supplies are included.

INSTRUCTOR: Tami Selph of Blubird Studio

Tami is a modern fiber artist, whose work merges traditional foundations with today’s textured techniques, and vibrant colorwork. She enjoys working with multiple fiber media, and is passionate about revitalizing and sparking a new appreciation for the fiber arts through education, and inspiring and empowering a new generation of makers. She is known for Collaborweave, an interactive weaving project which encourages community participation and creative collaboration, and her work has received awards from NY Sheep and Wool.
