Explore natural color and intuitive creation as we use food waste, floral waste and botanical dye stuffs to create a one of a kind hand dyed silk scarf. Learning the process of eco-printing, bundle dyeing, and natural color, we will explore how to create a piece which speaks to the mind, body, and spirit.
Ages: 17 years and up
Materials: Included with the class is a prepared silk scarf, dye materials, modifiers and tools for creation. Students are also welcome to bring additional prepared natural fiber to dye for an additional cost.
