Explore natural color and intuitive creation as we create one of a kind pieces of art using food waste, floral waste, and botanicals which can be utilized as a natural dye. Connecting our hearts and hands to the earth, we will learn the basics of natural dyeing such as mordants, modifiers, curing and more. Each participant will take home a napkin size cut of imprinted linen.
Ages: 16 years and up - beginner/intermediate
Materials: Included with the class is a prepared piece of linen, all botanical materials, modifiers and tools for creation. Students are also welcome to bring additional prepared natural fiber to dye for an additional cost.

Owner of Svanur, a self-care ritual based skin care & metaphysical medicine company. Organic urban flower farmer and ceremony facilitator, Nicole believes in sharing the stories and experiences plants can open up for us within so many mediums.
