Registration for this class is currently closed.
This is a two-part series held on Thursday, April 18th and Thursday, April 25th from 6-9pm.
Color is a part of our everyday lives. We wear it, eat it, and look at it all day long, but do we actually understand it? In this two-part series, we will break down the properties of color and help you better understand what you're looking at and how to translate it to your artwork. We will be working with acrylic paint and making a painting based off of color theory. All supplies will be included.
Ages: 16 years and up - no experience necessary!
Materials: Students will be provided with a starter acrylic set including paint, canvas, and introductory brushes.
Instructor: Vanessa Frost
As a full-time artist and owner of MUSEjar, Vanessa finds inspiration and joy in teaching art. Art is a language that is often forgotten about and it's amazing what happens once it's tapped into. Her background is fine art and film production, with a degree from The University of Vermont. She loves mixed media and currently works mainly with acrylics, but she is constantly exploring and experimenting with all other mediums.
NOTE: All classes require a minimum number of students to run. Please sign up in advance to help avoid cancellation due to low registration. In the case of a cancellation, you will be notified prior and receive a full refund. Please read our class policies.
