Join us to make a beautiful traditional Ukrainian Easter Egg. Ukrainian Easter eggs, or Pysanky, use a wax-resist method with layers of dye. The word pysanka comes from the verb pysaty, "to write" or "to inscribe", as the designs are not painted on, but written with beeswax.
Ages: 12 years and up
Materials: All Supplies provided by the instructor, including dyes, kistka (drawing tools), wax, candles, eggs.
**Attendees should bring a container to take their egg home.**
Dyes used may get on your clothes and stain, so don’t wear your fanciest outfit!
