In this digital world, it’s fun to get back to basics! Using one of the original forms of image production, you’ll get the chance to make beautiful, blue “photographs” without using a camera! Step into the blue and see the world in a new light!
Students should try to bring in their own opaque objects that will be used to create the shapes on the Cyanotype printing materials. Examples: feathers, yarn, lace, personal objects like jewelry, keys, pins etc.!
Due to drying times of prints, pieces can be picked up 1-2 days after the date of the class.
Ages: 5 years and up
Materials: All supplies are included.
Instructor: Lisa Pimental
A newcomer to the WNY region and a former high school photography teacher, Lisa is a graduate of San Jose State University where she discovered her love for all things image-making. While she enjoys any medium that allows her to explore creatively, Lisa loves any process that allows her to combine old, traditional techniques with new, current methods.
NOTE: All classes require a minimum number of students to run. Please sign up in advance to help avoid cancellation due to low registration. In the case of a cancellation you will be notified prior and receive a full refund. Please read our class policies.
