Learn basics of handweaving on a manageable scale in a night at the Roycroft Inn. We’ll be learning the fundamentals of weaving on an easy to handle handheld loom and creating a small wall hanging based off an original pattern designed by the instructor, inspired by the stained glass window patterns of Frank Lloyd Wright.
Ages: 16 years and up - no experience necessary!
Materials: All supplies are included. Students will be leaving with a Laser Cut Loom Set including loom and all tools.

Tami is a modern fiber artist, whose work merges traditional foundations with today’s textured techniques, and vibrant colorwork. She enjoys working with multiple fiber media, and is passionate about revitalizing and sparking new appreciation for the fiber arts through education, and inspiring and empowering a new generation of makers. She is known for Collaborweave, an interactive weaving project which encourages community participation and creative collaboration, and her work has received awards from NY Sheep and Wool.
