Create your own “stained glass” using wool, felt, silk and found objects. Take home a 4x6 suncatcher completely from natural elements.
Ages: 16 years and up - no experience necessary!
Materials: All supplies are included. If students have natural flat elements, such as feathers, ribbons or fabric scraps they would like to add, they are welcome to bring them.

Tami is a modern fiber artist, whose work merges traditional foundations with today’s textured techniques, and vibrant colorwork. She enjoys working with multiple fiber media, and is passionate about revitalizing and sparking a new appreciation for the fiber arts through education, and inspiring and empowering a new generation of makers. She is known for Collaborweave, an interactive weaving project which encourages community participation and creative collaboration, and her work has received awards from NY Sheep and Wool.
