Bundle dyeing and hammering natural fibers with flowers and herbs. Utilizing what would be seen as waste as a medium for creation. Botanical dying utilizing waste flowers from both my flower farm and self-care company. We will learn how plants carry their own dyes and prints upon natural linen using bundle dyeing and steam.

Special Notes: After one hour of steam dyeing your creation, you will be able to unravel and examine your piece or take it home to cure to deepen and mature color.

Ages: 16 years and up - no experience necessary!

Materials: Food scraps, herbs and floral waste will be provided for natural dye, along with a pre-treated napkin sized sheet of linen. Students are welcome to bring their own natural fibers to dye as well.
