Learn how to use wool as a medium for abstract art, and create either a wall hanging or a wearable textile (student's choice), using entirely natural fiber. Learn basics of Nuno felt and combine and manipulate sheep's wool and silk to create a finished piece of textural mixed media felt and silk, which can be embellished and hung and framed or worn as one of a kind wearable art!
Ages: Most suitable for adults of all ages - no experience necessary!

Tami is a modern fiber artist, whose work merges traditional foundations with today’s textured techniques, and vibrant colorwork. She enjoys working with multiple fiber media, and is passionate about revitalizing and sparking new appreciation for the fiber arts through education, and inspiring and empowering a new generation of makers. She is known for Collaborweave, an interactive weaving project which encourages community participation and creative collaboration, and her work has received awards from NY Sheep and Wool.
