Join us by the fireside in the lounge at the historic Roycroft Inn for a cozy evening of crafting. Fiber artist Tami Selph will be leading you in making one of a kind felted necklaces. You will use a variety of materials such as embroidery thread, hand spun snippets of wool, dyed locks, lace, and dried botanicals to create your masterpiece!
Ages: Most suitable for adults of all ages - no experience necessary!
Materials: All supplies are included, but your are welcome to bring anything special that you might want to include.
Instructor: Tami Selph
Tami is a modern fiber artist, whose work merges traditional foundations with today’s textured techniques, and vibrant colorwork. She enjoys working with multiple fiber media, and is passionate about revitalizing and sparking new appreciation for the fiber arts through education, and inspiring and empowering a new generation of makers. She is known for Collaborweave, an interactive weaving project which encourages community participation and creative collaboration, and her work has received awards from NY Sheep and Wool.
