Get (just a little) inky with us & learn the basics of silkscreen from image set-up to print pullin’! Participants will create a WNY neighborhoods-themed hand-printed poster, t-shirt or tote to flaunt your new printerly skills.
Ages: 16 years and up - no experience necessary!
Materials: All printmaking materials and paper will be provided. If participants wish to print on material besides paper, you are welcome to bring up to 3 pieces of fabric to print with (100% cotton or blend t-shirts, totes, pillowcases). Nathan Deganis Librera is a Screenprint instructor and teaching artist at the Western New York Book Arts Center (WNYBAC), an educational nonprofit in downtown Buffalo. In addition to teaching classes for children and adults at the Center, Nathan creates illustrated and hand-printed posters, totes, t-shirts and more in his quirky & colorful designs.
