AUGUST 8 +15 • Beginner Oil: Nautical Lakescape

This 2 part series will focus on beginner oil techniques including the concept of "fat over lean," laying down a wash, scumbling, and alla prima. We will also cover basic color theory as we learn to create value with muted grey blues using a limited palette.

Finished paintings will be 8x10 on canvas panel and look great in a frame!
*Paintings will be taken home wet or students may choose to leave them to dry and come back to pick up!

AGES: 16 years and up

EXPERIENCE: Beginner. Any and all experience levels are welcome

CLASS POLICY: 

In the event you need to cancel a class, you must cancel a minimum of two days (48 Hours) prior to the class date in order to receive a refund or transfer credit.

No refunds or transfers will be made on the day of the class or after the class has started for any reason. This is because our teachers purchase materials and plan for their classes based on the number of students registered.

However, if you’d like to offer your seat in that class to a friend or family member, we’d be happy to let them take your seat. We ask that you please call us ahead of time or email us at hello@musejar.com by noon on the day of the class to let us know.

*If you are a pottery student and you miss your glazing session, we will dip your pieces in white glaze and fire with the rest of the class.
