AUGUST 19 - 23 • KIDS CLAY CAMP

 


Calling all kiddos who love to get messy and work with their hands! This camp is the perfect exploration in ceramics, and we will experiment with a variety of hand building and even wheel throwing techniques! Students will get a chance to make several pieces of functional pottery - think cereal bowls, hot cocoa mugs and the like!

AGES: 8-11 years old

EXPERIENCE: All experience levels are welcome!

MATERIALS: Everything is included

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: 

  • Please wear comfortable closed toe shoes.
  • The pottery studio is MESSY. We have aprons, but please wear clothes that can get dirty.
  • If you have long hair, you must tie it back. 
  • No long finger nails
  • Bring a water bottle and a packed lunch/snacks each day!

 TIME AND LOCATIONS: Drop off and pick up will be at MUSEjar each day. 

9AM-12PM each day!

CLASS POLICY: 

In the event you need to cancel a class, you must cancel a minimum of two days (48 Hours) prior to the class date in order to receive a refund or transfer credit.

No refunds or transfers will be made on the day of the class or after the class has started for any reason. This is because our teachers purchase materials and plan for their classes based on the number of students registered.

However, if you’d like to offer your seat in that class to a friend or family member, we’d be happy to let them take your seat. We ask that you please call us ahead of time or email us at hello@musejar.com by noon on the day of the class to let us know.

*If you are a pottery student and you miss your glazing session, we will dip your pieces in white glaze and fire with the rest of the class.
