JULY 22 - 26 • EARTH IS ART CAMP

This summer camp focuses on simplicity. How can we use what we have to connect with our planet? How can we gather inspiration from a simple walk in the woods or by dipping our hands in earth made clay? Students will create useful tools to help our local pollinators, specifically bees and birds. We will explore our local surroundings and create a decorated nature turtle inspired by Jan Brett's book, Mossy. The magic of earth comes alive as we also create a paper mache earth lantern that will twinkle as they doze off each night.

However, if you’d like to offer your seat in that class to a friend or family member, we’d be happy to let them take your seat. We ask that you please call us ahead of time or email us at hello@musejar.com by noon on the day of the class to let us know.

*If you are a pottery student and you miss your glazing session, we will dip your pieces in white glaze and fire with the rest of the class.
